Trekking to the base camp of the world’s highest peak is a dream to most of the trekkers around the globe. It is one of the most popular and highly loved destinations in Nepal. The high altitude trekking includes walking for hours crossing rivers using the suspension bridges, forests, and different landscapes. You will also get to explore some lovely villages inhabited by the ethnic communities as well as visit some amazing monasteries and gompas on the way. Most part of the treks comes under the Sagarmatha National Park which is a hoe to many rare species of flora and fauna. Spectacular views of mountains such as Nuptse, Lothse, Makalu Choyu, Everest etc can be viewed from different places. The colorful prayers fluttering in the sky with the views of mountains in the backdrop is something you will cherish throughout the trip.

Our airport representative will be there to welcome you at Tribhuvan International Airport, Kathmandu upon your arrival. He/she will escort you to the respective hotel in a private vehicle comfortably. Your prior trip meeting will be scheduled on the very day at the hotel before dinner. However, our airport representative will give you a brief idea about the second day’s schedule on your way to the hotel. During the meeting, we will introduce you to your leader/guide. Please do not hesitate to ask questions about your trek or anything that is related to your trip. To make you feel comfortable, we schedule a welcome dinner for you in a popular restaurant in the city where you can enjoy authentic Nepali meal along with cultural programs including ethnic dance and songs.

You will be escorted to the domestic terminal of Tribhuvan Airport by our staff early in the morning to board the flight to Lukla. After a 30-35 minutes flight, you will land to Tenzing- Hillary Airport, Lukla from where your destination begins. You can enjoy the majestic view on your way to Lukla from Kathmandu if the weather is clear. You will be briefed by our guide regarding the trekking to Phakding. You will get some time to go see the village and local people while our porters sort out and load the trekking equipment. This walk is considered a short hike that will help you to acclimatize. After almost four hours of walk, you will reach Phakding. There are many beautiful monasteries to visit, beautiful Lukla village and a breathtaking terrain to view.

Today, after having breakfast in Phakding, our trekking continues along the trails of Dudhkoshi River. This uphill trail crossing the exciting suspension bridge with prayer flags leads to Monju, the entrance to Sagarmatha National Park. There are many teahouses, and shops on the way to Monjo from Phakding for light refreshment. You will have to clear the entrance formalities to enter the National Park from where you will be walking down the steeped trails to Dudhkoshi River. After crossing another suspension bridge, the uphill trail will lead you to Namche Bazaar-Gateway to Mt. Everest. You will find many good restaurants, hotels, lodges shops, money exchange, bakery and teahouses as Namche is the biggest village along the whole Everest trail. Major attractions of this day are a view of Mt. Kusum, Lhotse, Nuptse and the first Glimpse of Mt. Everest.

The entire day will be spent in Namche for you to get used to the environment. Namche is an important acclimatizing spot. You are advised to be active instead of sitting ideal during the day. You will be going for a short trek to Thame "an old Sherpa village to celebrate Sherpa watches Sherpa Tradition" or you can visit the peripheral villages offering you a lot more to see and cherish. You will have time to visit the National Parks headquarter, monasteries or the museum. You can get glimpses of the beautiful panorama of different peaks. This night will also be spent in a lodge in Namche Bazaar.
After breakfast, the trek for today will start. Today we will follow the trails along the glacial water of Dudhkoshi up till the altitude of 3867m. You can enjoy the phenomenal view of the Mt. Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, and Ama Dablam during this walk. Enthralling Thamserku exists in the close vicinity of the trail along with the lush of the temperate vegetation including Rhododendron, Oak, Juniper etc. You can also get a glance of wild fauna like Himalayan Thar, Musk deer, snow leopard and different varieties of birds prevailing in that region. After reaching Tengboche, you will see the famous Tengboche Monastery decorated with beautiful Sherpa art and different beautiful wall hanging.

As usual, our journey begins after breakfast at Tengboche. Today’s trek begins with a short hike down followed by an uphill climb to Pangboche (3,860m/12,664ft) crossing the river through a suspension bridge. You will be accompanied by a prepossessing view of the green vegetation. The beautiful view of the small villages and the chortens are very soothing. Majestic view Mt. Ama Dablam and other peaks like Island Peak, Lhotse awaits you here. After a few hours of the uphill climb, we will finally reach to Dingboche (4,358m/14,295ft).

Today is the second acclimatization day of this trek. After having your breakfast we will go for a short trek to Chuklung valley and Imja Khola valley where you can enjoy the phenomenal view of Mt. Ama Dablam, Nuptse and Lothse and many others. You can also view the beautiful fields and pastures of Dingboche from this point. After returning to Dingboche, you will spend the night in the guest house.

After the breakfast, today we will walk through the trails of the Khumbu valley to reach Dugla. During the trek, we will get to see the view of Mt. Pumori (7,138m/23,418ft) and Chola Lake. We will reach to Dugla after crossing a small bridge followed by a decent ascend. Here we will pass by some stone memorials of Sherpas climbers who perished on the Glacier of different peaks nearby. You will get to see other peaks like Mahalangur Himal, Khumbutse, and Lingtren from this point. After a gentle climb from Khumbu valley, we will reach to Lobuche. You might find some breathing difficulties due to the altitude.

Today, the trek is going to be a bit difficult one as you will be trekking along the Khumbu Glacier to reach the Everest Base Camp. We will first trek to Gorak Shep and after having lunch there the uphill climb for Everest base camp begins which is the point from where you can see Mt. Everest at close proximity without any mountaineering equipment. After walking through the rocky trail you will reach the Everest Base Camp (5,357m/17,575ft).You can see the splendid view of Khumbu valley from this point. We will return to Gorak Shep for dinner and overnight stay.
We will have to start our trek early today because this is the most tedious day of the entire trip. So you will have to start the journey by climbing up to reach Kala Patthar (Black Rock at 5,545m/18,192ft.), that offers the best views of Mt. Everest. This is a very challenging ascent yet a very rewarding one as you will get to see the enthralling view of the Everest, Nuptse, Lhotse, Pumori and Ama Dablam. We will spend some time here taking photographs before descending down to Gorak Shep and then trek down to Periche.

Soon after the breakfast, today we will have to walk down the trail that leads to Pangboche. You will get to see the oldest monastery in this region that is believed to display the scalp and bones of Yeti. Leaving behind the trails and crossing the river over Imja Khola we will reach Tengboche enjoying the panorama of the mountains. From there few hours of descent will take you to Dudhkoshi River. We will reach to Namche Bazaar after crossing the river and walking through the villages like Tashinga, Sansa, and Kyangjuma.

Today is the final day of this trek, so shortly after the breakfast, we will head towards Lukla from where your trek began. The trail drops down to Dudhkoshi and then we reach Monjo. We will have our lunch at Phakding and then continue to trek till we reach Lukla. You can spend your time with your team members roaming around the market or can have some quality time with yourself enjoying the achievement that you made during past few days. You will spend this night at Lukla.

Flight to and from Lukla are normally during the early hours as the weather might go unpredictably adverse during the later hours. After your breakfast, you will be taken to the airport by our guide and your luggage will be taken care of by the porters and local Sherpas. You will reach to Kathmandu after a 30 min of flying. You will be escorted to the respective hotel by our staff from the airport.

You will be visiting the different places in Kathmandu after the breakfast. There are many historic and cultural places that are of great significance in Kathmandu. You will get to see the major attractions of the city along with our professional guide and a private vehicle. The following are the major places that you will visit:
We will visit Patan Durbar Square that is listed in the UNESCO’s World Heritage Site. You can enjoy the age-old cultural heritage of the city, Boudhanath, and Swayambhunath a sacred pilgrimage of the Buddhist and Pashupatinath the very famous Hindu temple. After sightseeing, you will be meeting us at our office for a prior trek meeting. You can go shopping in the evening at Thamel which is famous for useful tourist’s products. Since today is your last day in Kathmandu, we host a farewell dinner where you can give your feedback regarding the services that we provided regarding the entire trip we will stay overnight at the hotel.

This is the last day of your trip with us. You can extend your trip for one or two days to visit other interesting places in and out of Kathmandu which is completely optional. If not then one of our staff will escort you to the airport as per your scheduled departure. You can roam around the city and buy souvenirs’ and do shopping to take along with you if your flight is scheduled during late hours.
We have prepared the trip departure dates in small groups departure for group fun and enjoyment trekking. Our group size start from 2 peoples (Even for solo travelers, we organize single trip on supplement cost of US$- 200 additional) and maximum group size will be 8-10 travelers. But in general, our every date will have small groups of 4- 6 peoples, which is good group size for safe and flexible & comfortable trekking.
